Alexandrea Callaghan is an author, an aspiring screenwriter and an avid movie watcher. In past lives she’s been a competitive swimmer, ballroom dancer, nanny, and photographer. As a member of the Hollywood Creative Alliance she spends most of her creative and analytical energy reviewing films and television shows. But what she strives for is to make the creative industry, and specifically “nerd” spaces a more welcoming space for minorities. As a woman who dares to speak about comic books and comic book media on the internet she knows firsthand how harsh the communities around these things can be. Alexandrea wants nothing more then to see more women take up space in areas they are constantly told aren’t meant for them.
