Friends is one of the most watched shows of all time and as such sparks a lot of debate among both casual watchers and fans. One of the ongoing commentaries is just how much the internet hates Ross Geller. I come to bring a very controversial stance. Ross Geller was a terrible partner, to every woman he ever dated. But he was a good person. He leant Monica money when she needed it, he bought Phoebe her first bike and taught her how to ride it and he gave up a career changing opportunity to help Rachel when he didn’t have to. Rachel Greene is the most selfish, self-centered, bitchy character in friends. Does Ross suck? Absolutely but they were a very toxic duo because Rachel sucked too. Arguably more so because again Ross was a bad partner but a good friend. Rachel was a bad partner and a bad person.
