Today’s follow the trail is back and today we are going to follow the late, great Alan Rickman. I’ve got to say that this is one of the celebrity deaths that has hit me the hardest. I was actually in the middle of a Harry Potter marathon when I found out. I fully blame Alan Rickman’s charm and talent for why there are so many Snape sympathizers out there. The sheer amount of them is inexplicable until you consider just how amazing Rickman was in that role.
Anyway we are actually starting our trail with Love Actually because its Christmastime and that is one of my favorite movies. We chose Alan Rickman so of course we are going to get back to Harry Potter. The cast of the Harry Potter movies is unmatched so it was kind of a hard decision on who to choose next but we are going with Sirus Black, Gary Oldman. Oldman was also the perfect Dracula in Bram Stoker’s Dracula acting opposite a very baby Winona Ryder. Winona was also in Edward Scissorhands with Johnny Depp. Depp of course acted opposite Helena Bonham Carter in about 1000 projects but we chose Sweeney Todd. And of course Carter was Bellatrix bringing us back to Harry Potter.
