Rings of power was the most watched original on Prime Video. From the same studio that gives us The Boys and Invincible, Amazon Prime is not only giving us another season of Rings of Power but it seems several more seasons. We might not know exactly how long this story is going to go, or if we are even going to follow the same characters as we move through it BUT they did set themselves up pretty well to walk us right up to the start of Lord of the Rings. Which means we will probably see a play by play of the brief history we are given at the beginning of Lord of the Rings. I for one am very excited for it.

Though there is no specific release date for the second season of Rings of Power, the show remains Prime Video’s most watched original show. There has been some speculation among fans about what might be covered in season two and even questions about whether or not we will get a season 3, well we have some answers.
This new deal means great things for the future of the show. Production is also anticipated to move for its 3rd season to a new production facility near Shepperton Studios in the UK. So in addition to anxiously waiting for news of a season 2 release, we can look forward to season 3 as well.
