Aside from Carrie, Miranda Hobbes is probably the most flawed of the Sex and the City women. And thus she is one of my favorites. She is the character I probably identify with the most. She is strong, powerful, independent and she works very hard to be a woman in a man’s world as she is a lawyer. That said, her aggressive feminism is sometimes a step too far and she ends up pushing the men she cares about her away.

Miranda Hobbes is arguably the most realistic of the women. She has her routine and her ideals and though she is open minded sometimes it takes her a little push and a bit of effort to come around to other people’s way of thinking. I think that is how most people are in real life. Miranda is also fiercely loyal and an incredible friend. She is very protective over the other girls and she does her best to protect her friends. She also has the most realistic perspective. Charlotte is really idealistic and kind of lives in a dream world, Samantha is very blunt and Carrie is straight up delusional. But Miranda manages to stay pretty grounded and she offers a sometimes pessimistic but necessary perspective for the rest of the girls.
