We have now watched Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten rings 13 times. 13 should be a lucky number for me but dear lord was this one hard to get through. There were actually a lot of new things that we were able to point out on this run through. I think watching the MCU rewatch in order right before we watch Shang Chi has actually been really helpful in getting us to identify what are specifically Shang Chi problems and what are overall MCU problems. And as we round the end of phase 2 we are able to get into that a little bit more. I get to bully my husband a little because he did fall asleep during this watch of it and so I had to suffer by myself. I will get him back I am sure. Somehow the movie seemed longer today, probably because I wanted to dose off too.
We are about to start phase 3, the biggest phase in the MCU. We have a new voice weighing in this week on your movie recommendations. Right before San Diego Comic Con we will be launching a new Comic Book Resources page that will house all of the things you need to know as a new and upcoming nerd. We are gearing up for a few major conventions up through the next few months. Anime Expo is next weekend, SDCC in July, D23 in August and last but not least LACC in October. I am going to be a very busy media journalist. But never fear we will be keeping up with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Because who doesn’t want to hear me spiral into madness as we watch the same film 300 times. Okay it might not be 300 but it certainly feels like it. I will also hopefully have some panels at LACC so stay tuned for that news as well.
