The first episode of the second season centers on the Elves and the effects of the first set of rings. Halbrand/Sauron makes his way back to Celebrimbor, who doesn’t know who he is yet, so the unfolding of their relationship is still up in the air. We saw nothing from Durin and Disa or of the Numenorians in this episode, so that is still coming.
The first season’s success, with over 100 million viewers, sets high expectations for the second.
