The beginning of Desperate Housewives season 2 starts right where season 1 left off. Bree is grieving in isolation. Lynette is headed to work per her husband’s request. Susan is in the hospital after the fallout with Zach and Mike. And Gabrielle throws John out of her house after he revealed to Carlos that he was the one that she was having an affair with. Oh and we have new neighbors on Wisteria lane. Not quite sure what the overall mystery for the season is going to be but we are starting off well with a very easy to follow timeline. I appreciate that we went straight from season 1 to season 2 with no time in between.

My poor Lanette has been through a lot and my biggest hope for her is for her to divorce Tom. My poor Bree simply needs her children to not be crazy. Gabriel needs to get rid of Carlos. And Susan does not deserve all of the bad that has happened to her. My girl really needs a happy ending. Lot’s of shit went down this season, the mystery was the Applewhites and now they are gone so it does seem like we are keeping these mysteries to a single season. Apparently when it was airing it was accused of a second season slump, but I fully disagree. I think it was very consistent with the first season. There were small flaws with the writing of the Applewhites but other than that it was very good.
