The comeback of Lindsay Lohan was a hot internet topic on the internet for a while. She came out with a Christmas movie last year and then she was in another Netflix project that was released earlier this year, Irish Wish. As with many child stars spending so long in the spotlight led to a decline of mental health and she was really struggling for a while. Well as someone who thrived on Lindsay Lohan movies when I was younger I was someone who was super excited to see her be healthy and happy again. So I was excited to finally sit down and watch Irish Wish.

Overall I think the film was a pretty solid 7.5/10. Higher than Netflix normally produces. I think the love story of the main character as well as the other love story the film sets up are both incredibly well set up and executed. There is a great balance of tropes and original thoughts. Fully making the film feel like the genre it’s supposed to be without reducing itself solely to tropes and cliches. I love seeing Lindsay Lohan on screen again. This is really where she belongs, she deserves nothing but happiness. I am so happy that she is acting in projects that really seem to be just fun for her. If you are looking for a fun, magical rom com then Irish Wish is definitely worth the watch.
