Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim was one of the most anticipated films for nerds this year. I love Lord of the Rings and am always craving stories from middle earth. I don’t care if they are good or not, I just want them. So I personally was very excited about this movie. I was also just really excited to get another LotR animated movie. There is just so much you can do with animation and Lord of the Rings is just the perfect backdrop for it.

I love anything that takes place in Middle Earth, but genuinely this was such a well crafted film. Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim really captured the beauty and magic of Middle Earth. From a Rohanian king being too proud to call on Gondor for aid, to a young woman breaking just all the rules to follow what she believes in. It was very consistent with what we have seen from this universe, without being too repetitive. There is plenty of originality in this story and at the same time, if it feels comfortable and familiar. It lived up to every expectation I could have possibly had. 10/10, will be showing it to everyone I know.
