Okay…I want to clarify right at the top here that we are only watching this movie for journalism purposes. I really can’t stand Nicholas Cage movies, he seems to be getting harder to avoid though. He’s been in 3 movies in 2 years and it is a lot. I think he was uniquely suited for Dream Scenario and Renfield but his face still bothers me. I’ve also reviewed what feels like an insane amount of horror and thriller movies this year. So this is really going to have to be great in order for me to care. So here we are with my against my will review of Longlegs.

The film was definitely creepy, the plot was a little aimless but the way that they delivered exposition was done pretty well. It still seemed a little bit underdeveloped. Like there was something missing from the story. The ending was kind of a twist ending but it didn’t feel right. The best thing this film has going for it is the cinematography, the interesting camera angles and the distorted shots kept the film interesting to watch. Overall the film is a 6/10 at best. I know I am super judgy but it really just wasn’t that good, so sorry.
