Well folks, I watched it so that you don’t have to. Perhaps one of the most controversial movies of the year we’ve got The Apprentice starring Sebastian Stan (interesting career move there bud). Now I want to preface this by saying that I will be taking politics completely out of my review. I will be doing what I always do and analyzing the film as objectively as possible. I will not be bringing any personal feelings into this review. This is ONLY about the elements of the film.

Well Sebastian Stan did an incredible job, I am not quite sure how his career is going to fair after this. People in Hollywood feel like it was a bad move because they hate Trump. And I can’t imagine that conservatives are loving this portrayal so I can’t envision really anyone hiring Sebastian Stan for a whole lot of anything relevant after this. Now I know that Stan just took a job, this man has never actually cared about a single role he has ever played. The man just wants to feed himself. I think that the cinematography choices were great. Making the film feel like a documentary was really an interesting choice. I think that it aided the film. Overall, as much as you want to be impartial about the film, the way that you feel about Trump, will color how you feel about the story. The objective elements; The pacing, and the writing quality were good. But film is meant to make you feel something and how you feel about him will dictate how you feel about the film.
