In the grand scheme of film there are many franchises. And some of them are brilliant, we have Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Some are mediocre and hit or miss like Star Wars. And some, some just shouldn’t exist at all. In this article we will be discussing films that should have stopped after a single movie. Overall franchises that aren’t book adaptations exist as an attempt for Hollywood to make as much money as possible. The reality however is that the longer these franchises go on the more money they lose. They never recoup their investment, so it’s never actually worth it. They simply end up oversaturating the market and making people tired of horror movies.
