One of the biggest points of debate on the internet and amongst Gilmore Girls fans is who is the best boyfriend? People put themselves into different camps based on who they like the best for each character. So here is my official ranking for each of the Gilmore Girls. We are talking only about Lorelei and Rory here, Lane and Paris is a whole different discussion.
So let’s go ahead and start with Lorelei. We are going to go from worst to best here.

Going from worst to best for Rory as well. This is a slightly shorter list as I am not counting her one off dates or flirtations. I am only counting the three boys that she actually had a relationship with. I should say relevant relationships because there was A Year In The Life, that despite what some fans think was very consistent with the original series. That said Paul was not relevant as Rory kept cheating on and forgetting about him. That is a different discussion however. That is part of my evidence as to why Rory sucks and therefore will be further addressed in my full video essay for the show. So we are just talking about the boyfriends from the original series.
