Los Angeles Comic Con had some major stars this year, among them being the Doctor himself, Matt Smith. Also known for The Crown and House of the Dragon, Matt Smith brought British humor and charm to the LACC stage.
So being approximately 10 feet away from Matt Smith was a lot. He is my favorite Doctor. He is the hottest (male) Targaryen and he also starred in The Crown which I never really sat down and watched. I honestly forgot that people know him from something other than Doctor Who, genuinely didn’t even occur to me.

He had a much better moderator, quite frankly she was the best one all day. She was really good at giving Matt’s energy back to him which made the entire panel very well paced and extremely enjoyable for the audience. She asked good questions as did the audience. The fan questions always tend to be a little better then moderator questions, but this woman also seemed to be a fan of Matt’s so that really helped. She was asking things actual fans wanted to know.
That man is witty, sweet and adorable and I absolutely loved being able to see him in person. I am a little personally offended that he only got half of the time a lot of the other mainstage panels did. But I guess I understand that they had to cut time somewhere with just so many special guests worth the headlining spot. I just wish Matt Smith had a little more time on stage, but who knows maybe he’ll be back in the future.
