There were too many Sundays in April. The month is still not over but our first month of watching Shang-Chi: The Legend of the Ten rings is. We have now watched this movie 5 times. This time we took the time to craft a movie specific drinking game. We have also come up with an MCU generic drinking game so I will drop that one as well. But next week we will be playing the drinking game and we will be going live so that you all may play along with us. Also its way more entertaining to watch people play a drinking game then it is to hear it.

Simultaneously with this podcast we are also rewatching the entire MCU in release order. Last week was, of course, Iron Man. And as much as I wanted to believe that I got to watch Captain America and Thor next apparently we went right into Iron Man 2…what a downfall. But we will get to that in that podcast episode. This weeks episode is mostly about explaining the drinking game and adding in any random thoughts we had. Most of them are not new, Shang-Chi is definitely not getting better as time goes on. But at the very least we are keeping ourselves entertained. We will be bringing in some fresh eyes soon that will hopefully have some new commentary. We have also been thinking about re-editing the movie in a few different ways to simply make it better, so that will exist at some point. I think the thing that we are stuck on for now is that the characters seem to switch from English to Chinese with no motivation. There is no actual basis for the language switch and realistically the entire movie should be in Chinese but here we are.
