So we know that I have now a second solo playthrough started on Baldur’s Gate…this playthrough is going slightly smoother now that I have the vaguest idea of what it is that I am doing. That said it is still taking me a few tries to get through certain combats. But I also breezed through a few other combats a lot easier then I did last time which is nice. I suppose I should finish a playthrough at some point. Patrick and I are getting closer to finishing act 3 of our playthrough. I really love BG3 but I have decided that it might be time to expand my video game knowledge. So I have started playing the most recent (still a decade old) Tomb Raider, and Assassins Creed: Black Flag, because I really wanted to play a pirate game.
BG3 is a great beginner game for anyone trying to get into video games though I do highly recommend playing with someone who knows what they are doing the first time you play. And if you are unfamiliar with Dungeons and Dragons mechanics then I am sure that will make the game a little more difficult. But to that idea if you are trying to get into Dungeons and Dragons the game could help you get an idea of the mechanics. Please ignore my random singing, I didn’t realize that it was happening until I watched the video back. If you have any game suggestions for me that might be similar to BG3 then please let me know.
