Carrie is the worst part of Sex and the City, but Charlotte York and the other girls are definitely who we all watch and rewatch the show for. So I am doing an article for each of the girls highlighting all the reasons that they are amazing. Charlotte is one of my favorites, she is elegant, smart and very sweet. She is also a little neurotic but in a super adorable way. She is the traditional friend who does a great job of balancing out Samantha. I also think that Charlotte has the most growth over the course of the series, she is the one that is pushed the most and the one that changes the most. She goes through a lot but her story is the most entertaining one to watch.

Charlotte York is sweet and simple and sometimes that can bite her in the ass. But for the most part it just makes her a good friend (to most of the girls). Her and Samantha are pretty diametrically opposed but they still manage to create and maintain a lasting friendship. This shows her ability to compromise and keep an open mind even if it isn’t her knee-jerk reaction to do so. Sometimes the girls force her out of her comfort zone and though she resists, she goes along with it because she loves and trusts them. Charlotte is just great.
