We are week 4 into our MCU rewatch and we have just finished watching Thor. Thor remains one of the best MCU origin stories for so many reasons, all of which we talk about in this weeks episode. If you missed this week’s episode of An Idea of All Time please make sure you go check it out. The thing I love most about the Thor movies is, of course, Loki. Tom Hiddleston is one of the best casting choices to come out of the MCU.

Thor was given an 8.5/10 by me, for being the most watchable origin story. We will see how it holds up against The Avengers and the other movies of the MCU but as of right this second I have it ranked the highest of all the phase 1 movies that we have watched so far. Patrick gave it a 7/10, overtaking Captain America but not quite measuring up to the first Iron Man movie. The one thing that we can agree on is that Iron Man 2 is still dead last, I don’t see it being bumped up anytime soon. There were some bad movies in phase 2 but the second Iron Man film was truly on a next level of terrible. So we are about to close out the rewatch of Phase 1 with The Avengers next week and then we will do a full recap of the first phase and go from there!
