We are officially 3 months into watching Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten rings and I am also officially losing my mind. With 7 months left it is starting to sink in that we are going to have to just watch this movie straight up for several months. We have found several ways to keep it interesting for ourselves thus far, but we have used them all up. Perhaps we should have saved some of these creative ideas for later. But instead you all get to listen to me devolving into madness. This time we watched the movie on 1.5X speed. This made the movie much more bearable as it was over faster.
I highly recommend watching bad movies on a faster speed it was more watchable for several reasons. I think the last arrow in our quiver here is to have a guest on but I suppose that we should save that gimmick for when I am clinging to my last bit of sanity. I’m going to be really honest, that is not going to take that long. Shang Chi could have been a decent movie but it just was not executed well in any way, shape, or form. At this point I think we’ve said about all we can say about the film itself and its about to get really introspective as far as the commentary goes. We have so many more watches of this film coming up. And it seemed like such a good idea at the time.
