The last episode of The Boys definitely moved our plot along a lot more. Butcher has Neuman’s husband held hostage wanting him to recreate the virus. Something is going on with Starlight, for some reason her powers have been shitting out. Honestly it feels a little like they just don’t know what to do with her this season. Kimiko was a little on the backburner last episode and Ryan is being turned into a little, mini Homelander which is about to be super terrifying. Frenchie turned himself into the police…hate that. And we know that Sage and Homelander are planning something, though we don’t know what that is as of yet. That is where we left off last week, what better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than watching The Boys Season 4 Episode 6.

We end The Boys season 4, episode 6 with Butcher realizing that his brain is super fucked up. Homelander is back to being coddled like an actual baby. And we now know that in order for the virus to be strong enough to kill Homelander, it would then be airborne in a way that would kill all Supes. So now Butcher has a decision to make. Though the only scientist that they have doesn’t seem like he would risk his wife and daughter for himself so I’m really not that worried about it. Huey has a breakdown and honestly they just need to leave that boy alone for a few weeks and let him process and recover. Starlight is still pretty useless and we still don’t have an explanation as to why.
