S.G. Blaise’s Mythical Hunters first issue has been released at San Diego Comic-Con! S.G. Blaise’s newest adventure is in the form of a comic book. It takes place in the same seven galaxies as The Last Lumenian series with completely different characters and stories. Now I know that this run will have around 176 issues. What I don’t know is a specific release schedule. I know that the creative team put themselves on a hard deadline so that the first issue could be out to you by SDCC and I know that they are already working on the second issue. As in, S.G. has already submitted too many pages. But other then that I don’t have an estimated date or anything for when the next issue might be out. But as someone who totally devoured the first one, I hope that it’s soon.
The two main characters decide to team up, somewhat temporarily, and essentially become bounty hunters. The story is exceptionally well-paced, leaving you wanting more with every panel. Each of the main characters has a lot of personal depth to uncover, and we only get a glimpse of it in this first issue. S.G. Blaise’s Mythical Hunters is an amazing addition to any comic book collection, but if you’ve read The Last Lumenian series, then it is an absolute must-read.
