We have officially watched Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 23 times. Rest assured that on this week’s podcast we spend exactly 2 minutes total talking about the movie and the rest of the time talking about literally anything else. We do go on a short tangent about Fleabag. A truly beautiful comedy series about depression, heartbreak, and finding yourself. We highly recommend it to literally everyone. Our biggest complaint about this movie is really that it is devoid of any substance. A bunch of things simply happen in this movie without any connection or depth. This film has no details and meets the bare minimum requirements to even be considered a movie.
Our journey with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is about halfway finished. We have almost exactly 20 more episodes of this before we go ahead and switch movies. The next film will decide if we continue with this months long format or we become weenies and switch to weeks.
