Well Charlie finally gets her facetime with the angels in Hazbin Hotel episode 6 and she realizes that they are all hypocrites. The angels admit to not knowing what gets someone into heaven. Because of this they can not actually judge whether or not someone in hell is worthy or even capable of redemption. When Charlie points this out she gets some of the angels to question the system that is in place. OH and we find out that Vaggie is not who we thought she was. I have got to say that as far as plot twists go, this one was really intense. My jaw was on the floor. It really explains why Vaggie didn’t want to come with Charlie to heaven but damn. I felt the betrayal real hard, Charlie was rightfully devastated.
It’s also revealed at this point that Alistair has a deal with someone. We don’t know who or what that means for him. But there is more to his backstory then we know. It is a little surprising because up to this point he’s seemed pretty powerful. though I guess early in the show they mentioned that he had disappeared for a while and no one knew why. So I guess we can assume he was in hiding from whoever controls him. That said he is pretty powerful still so I’m not sure what kind of being would have control over him. There didn’t seem to be that vibe when Lucifer showed up. So when that finally gets expanded on it will certainly be interesting. Hazbin Hotel episode 6 really picks up the pace of the show and gives us more questions then answers. The show does a great job of setting up future without trying to. It is very much just telling the narrative of this season. But because it is written so well, there is so much opportunity for expansion and explanation.
