We are talking about Marvel/DC crossovers again and this time we have 1 really fun and interactive crossover and one not so great crossover. As a fun reminder that not every comic book storyline is a winner. Crossovers are a fun way to explore new ideas and interesting storylines but sometimes they aren’t actually executed that well and that’s okay. There have been Marvel/DC crossovers for decades thus they can’t all be winners. Think about what it takes to get these two major comic book companies to come up with a crossover story that they are both happy with. Neither wants their heroes to lose or appear weaker, sometimes that focus hinders the actual story.

I really think that DC vs Marvel is one of the best company crossovers as it has really everything it needs. It’s also the first crossover that truly pits the two companies against each other in any direct way. I feel like that is what a lot of fans wanted from a crossover anyway. That said the feats of a hero really only depend on the current writer, if I really wanted to I could write a story where Aquaman beats Scarlet Witch…it wouldn’t make any sense but I could.
