We are now into the second half of the season for Cruel Intentions. Now originally it was a single season order for this show but I think it has a lot of potential and we all know that if a studio feels like they can make money off of it they will continue to produce it until everyone is tired and broke. So perhaps there will be a second season in our future. Though I suppose I should hold my horses and see how this season ends first. Cruel Intentions episode 5 is the best episode so far.

I seriously can’t get over how good this casting is. Sara Silva who plays Cece actually looks a lot like Selma Blair. From looks to ability this is the best cast adaptation that I have ever seen. The characters have gotten so much more room to breathe in this show then they ever got in the movie and I genuinely think that this show might be better than the movie. I know that is a bold statement but let’s think. The plot is extremely similar. Like the movie the show cast young and up and coming actors who perfectly fit their roles. And this format simply lends itself to this story more than a feature does. Cruel Intentions episode 5 really ramps up the tension in the best way.
