We are now in the last two episodes of Cruel Intentions, we have hit upon nearly every plot point from the movie. There are only a few things left to go. I am not sure if they are going to follow the movie ending through but I really love the way that the show is going so far. I really really hate adaptations. I’ve made that pretty clear. But this is possibly the best movie to tv adaptation that exists. Cruel Intentions episode 7 continues to prove that.

Okay so the show is doing a great job of fixing a lot of problems that I have with the movie. I really hope that they continue on this trend because one thing in the movie that always bothered me is that Sebastian kind of died a martyr. He dies protecting Annette and that somehow magically makes all the horrible things he did disappear. I really don’t want them to do that to Lucien. These are bad dudes and it genuinely doesn’t matter what their little insecurities are, or how much they think they’ve grown. They have still never faced consequences for the shitty things they’ve done. So we will see how they decide to end his story, starting with Cruel Intentions episode 7.
