Now I don’t know anyone who is like super excited to go see Kraven the Hunter. It truly is one of the most random heroes that they could have chosen to center a movie on. But it is a comic book movie which means here I am doing background.

Kraven is inherently a hilarious comic book character. He’s got a couple of serious storylines, sure, but mostly he is campy as hell, And that doesn’t seem to be the angle they took with the movie. Now if they went the fully psychotic route I am okay with that as well but I really don’t think that they did that either. So I guess we will see. Though I will say that Aaron Taylor Johnson was inherently a horrible casting choice. No matter how cut the man may be able to get he is too small. No one is believing that this man is a badass Russian killer. So based on that pretty major mistake, I really don’t have high hopes for the rest of the movie.
