The first two seasons of What If…? Were really hit or miss. We got some interesting original characters and some fun stories but for the most part What If…? Is not living up to what it is meant for. We got like 1000 Captain Carter episodes for absolutely no reason and there have been very little actual exploration of all the possibilities of the Marvel Universe. Also Marvel has just so many characters and for some reason the writers of What If…? Seem to be completely fixated on the same 5 characters. I really hope that What If…? season 3 does a better job, but to be completely honest I don’t have a lot of confidence.

Overall I think that this season is definitely off to a much better start. The last two seasons of What If…? Have genuinely been really bad. In these first three episodes we are at least centered on 3 separate groups of people which is really what the main problem with the first two seasons was. But I swear to god if Captain Carter makes any appearances this season I am going to lose it. So far What If…? Season 3 is 10X better than anything we got in the first two seasons.
